Because Espresso is an accounting system, exporting data to other accounting systems is simple and very flexible.  With Espresso's data held in standard SQL server databases, integration can be performed at any level from raw sales to GL postings.  Espresso's multi-site technologies can be used to manage transfer of data between sites (even non espresso data) and provide real-time integration to 3^rd party systems.  Espresso comes with built-in import / export templates for some accounting systems, and creating new templates is not difficult.

Espresso's multi-site technologies enable sharing of company wide data such as stock balances across all locations, centralised customers loyalty database and gift registries.  Using Espresso's multi site technologies these records can be made available via remote access to head office or they can be cached and updated in real time at every branch.
